Where Is Louise Ogborn From McDonalds Now?
The 18-year-old Lousie tried everything she could to help her mother, who had health issues and had recently lost her work.
At the McDonald's in Washington, Lousie was consistently open to working extended hours.
To be helpful and earn a few extra dollars, Ogborn offered to work through the restaurant's evening rush on April 9, 2004. She, however, could not have anticipated that her meritorious deed would develop into a horrific incident that would follow her throughout the rest of her life.
Ogborn was summoned into the claustrophobic office of assistant manager Donna Summers and informed that the person was on the phone with a police officer.

Donna told Ogborn that the store manager was on the other end of the phone with the responding officer, who had accused her of robbing a customer of her pocketbook.
Ogborn was instructed to hand over her mobile phone and car keys and empty her pockets, which she did. The caller then ordered Ogborn to strip off all her clothing, including her panties, leaving her with a little, filthy apron to cover her nude body.
Summers claims that because she was confident the person she spoke to was a police officer, she never questioned what she was being asked to do. Ogborn claims that she had faith in her management to act morally.
The Case And The Closure
The civil trial started on September 10 and finished on October 5, 2007. A jury awarded Ogborn $1.1 million in compensatory damages and expenses in addition to $5 million in punitive damages.
Summers received $100,000 as compensatory and $1 million in punitive damages.
The jury determined that McDonald's and the anonymous caller shared 50% of the blame for the victim's maltreatment.
McDonald and their counsel received a penalty for omitting information crucial to the trial's conclusion. McDonald's was also ordered to pay $2.4 million in legal fees to the plaintiffs' attorneys in November 2008.
