Verdict in the Lori Vallow Daybell trial will be live streamed

BOISE, Idaho — Justin Lum with Fox10 reports that the court has announced it will live stream the verdict from the jury when that time comes.
A recording ban has been in place in this case since September, 2022. The defense argued, and Judge Boyce agreed, that it would be impossible to find a fair and impartial jury given the extent of media coverage. Judge Boyce then banned all recordings from the trial proceedings. This new ruling will allow for live streaming in the courtroom once the jury has decided on a verdict.
We will host that stream here on Idahonews.com and across our social platforms. Make sure you have our CBS2 App downloaded, we will be doing push alerts throughout the remainder of the trial when moments like closing statements and the verdict come out.
