Taylor Swift donates $100,000 to family of Super Bowl parade shooting victim

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) – Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the woman who was killed in a shooting at the Super Bowl championship parade in Kansas City.
A GoFundMe page was created to raise money for Lopez-Galvan’s funeral.
On Friday morning, Taylor Swift made two separate $50,000 donations to the fundraiser.
The superstar wrote alongside her donations, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
PEOPLE confirmed the donation came from the pop star, who is currently on tour in Australia.
Lopez-Galvan was shot and killed at the end of the Super Bowl championship parade for the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday.
According to the GoFundMe page, she is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years.
“She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many,” the page reads.
Kansas City police said 22 other victims were wounded in the shooting. Lopez-Galvan is the only reported death.
Police believe the shooting was the result of an argument between two groups.
Two juveniles are in custody for the shooting.
